The President of the Federation of Gulf Chambers and President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sameer Nass, confirmed the "importance of advancing trade exchange relations between Bahrain and Jordan, and the need to invest brotherly relations in raising the volume of bilateral trade and establishing commercial and economic partnerships between the private sector in the two countries."
This came during his meeting with the Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Nael Al Kabariti, on the sidelines of the 24th Arab-German Forum, which was held in the German capital, Berlin, during the period 5-6 October. Throughout the meeting, the research dealt with the arrangements for the establishment of the third Jordanian Gulf Communication Forum, which is expected to be held at the end of this year in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
Nass emphasized "the importance of taking advantage of the available investment opportunities by working to increase and develop the potential of production and export," calling for "the importance of strengthening communication, cooperation, information exchange, and visits to identify the potential in the two countries and the needs of the two markets."
In turn, Al Kabariti expressed his aspiration to activate the role of the private sector in economic cooperation between the two countries, adding that "businessmen have many opportunities to seize and benefit from," confirming "the Jordan Chamber's readiness to provide all facilities that enable Bahraini and Jordanian business owners to enter into joint projects, and benefit from the economic agreements signed between Bahrain and Jordan.”
